Pura Vida!
I cannot believe we are in Costa Rica! Pura Vida literally means "pure life", and it's a saying the residents here say all the time. It's an expression of happiness and living life to the fullest.
With that being said my husband and I decided to go on a small vacation just us two to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We took advantage that our kids are on vacation with the grandparents. We sneaked a little getaway.
I did not want to bring coding with me on vacation to be honest. However, my husband convinced me to bring my laptop. He was saying there will be down time here and there and I can code then! I really appreciate his support it means the world and honestly I don't think I would have been able to do it without him.
So the past three days I have been preparing to leave. Our flight was an all day flight since our layover was for 4 hours. When we were about to land the pilot announce that he would have to turn back and land in El Salvador because the fog was so thick in San Jose that it was too dangerous to land. We were in El Salvador for 2 hours while the fog cleared and the plane got refueled.
We arrived safely but way early for our room check in. SIIIIGGGHHH. It's ok I guess I'll code and write a blog while we wait.
